Post any theories you have on this game, and what you hope will be in it.

For me. I have no theories really, but I really hope to see a Cameo from other COD games. (Price has been in like 4 of them...) Maybe Soap? (MW chars obv. won't be in it, due to being a diff company) But maybe a char from WAW would be cool.


I also hope the game has a lot of stealthy missions like the ones you go on with Price in MW1/2. (with sniper).

I heard that this one will be based on the cold war. You could see younger versions of MW2 characters but I assume the new game won't be in that continuity.

If anything I see it being related to WAW just because of the split companies.

I was reading on the game and apparently it's Cold war + Vietnam. So it's both and a bunch of other stuff.

The trailer did show the Viet Cong, but that's all =\

Not modern. It will be the guns of the era. So cold war+Vietnam weapons mostly.

Wiki (both the general and the CoD derivative) confirms something to the effect of,

"Black Ops is a sequel to World at War as one of its main characters Reznov is returning."

Not sure if it's the same Reznov per se, or if it's Captain Price syndrome, and they're carrying on the persona of Reznov thematically as opposed to literally, but either way could potentially be quite interesting
