Lag?

okay so i went on vaca for a week and then was sick for 3 days. during that time frame i wasn't able to play some BC2, now that i am back... what the hell happened? no matter what game i go into whether it is rush or conquest there is a ton of lag. So after backing out i decided hey maybe i will just go and play some squad rush... 4 v 4 there couldn't possibly be any lag.... but i was wrong.... i'm about to snap my disc in half and throw it away, this is absolutely ridiculous.

I did not notice any when we were on last night...
that said, how long have you been gone, and did you miss any updates? Thought there was one a couple weeks back not that that might have issue. Isn't it usually caused though by just too many on any one server?

it's been like this for months. and Over a year on BF1943.. The game is hardly playable and that's why I never put it in my PS3 anymore.

There isn't anything you can do except NOT buy EA games, because they are all like this...with the terrible servers.

Well...I didn't notice any considerable lag before the most recent update...at least nothing to piss me off. After the latest two updates a couple of weeks ago, the lag has been horrible. It is definitely detracting from gameplay at this point. Nothing like taking you twice the amount of shot to kill your opponents now! My favorite is when you kill someone and they stay alive for 2 seconds and then drop dead...it's like a delayed heart attack.

I was reading that it's worst on the east coast in america. I dunno where you are hotdog since I shouldn't have even passed grade 3 geography...but yeah.

It's horrible here, apparently HORRIBLE on east coast, and also in parts of Britain.

My favourite is when you walk out of a door way, then teleport back into the room you were just leaving, and then get killed behind a wall. it's fun man!

I'm in Jersey...I feel your pain. I also like sprinting across the board...it's like your on a damn treadmill...your legs move, but you don't go anywhere. I've always noticed more dropping out. I got booted out of each of the last three ops.

Haha yeah. I will say it's hilarious when i'm not lagging and I see some kid running on the spot. But overall I really WISH ea would friggin fix this.

BF1943 has been like this for so long and they don't do ANYTHING about it. T_T

This is why i'm telling everyone to NOT buy Medal of honor, because it's going to lag like this, just like BC1, BC1943, and BC2.

yea well i live in mass,so you definitely could say i live in the east coast, i just dont get how i never had any lag issue's when it came out ( when the most people played this game ) but now i do.... you think this would be something on the top of there to-do list but i cause pleasing us people who ALREADY bought their games isnt to important lol

It was lagfree for the first 2 months. after that it just got terrible.

Sick of lag also and worse still losing connection, big, big problem EA.. doesn't happen on any other game, even if connection is crap..

Why do you guys even play anymore?

I quit the moment it hindered my gameplay.
I just don't see the point in trying to play THROUGH the horrible lag. It makes the game not fun at all...To me at least.

It's not that bad...it only effects you a handful of times during a match. It's not going to stop me from playing.

well sometimes i play its really bad but other times i play its lag free.... you just gotta catch it at the right time

Woo! New Jersey here too but anyways this game is pretty much unplayable at this point so Id like to apologize for my inactivity first and foremost, But really its like I'm running backwards for 10 minutes and then when I try to get in a tank it won't even move...I was working on getting the insignia for the 500 shotgun kills and I was at 497 and I couldn't even get 3 kills for my insignia the hit detection is so bad Sorry but until EA adresses these major lag issues I won't be going anywhere near this game.

It's not a good thing, but it's no where near stopping me from playing. It was really good tonight...I didn't noticed any major lag for the first time in a while. Where in Jersey are you? I'm in Morris County.

I'm in williamstown which is in Gloucester County its right above Cumberland county and a little bit below Mulica hill

I'm starting to think it has nothing to do with the location.

It's not my net though either, I play mw2 on 4 bar connection(best..) and my NAT type is open...so it's def ea...

I really wanted to buy MoH Too. this sucks.

And michael, i'm avoiding the game too. Don't worry about it.
