Yes, just finished the purchase and assumed I could get on. I cant even get to the MoH website. Todays is the 17th WTF?

You get the code...gamespot said they wouldn't have codes to distribute until tomorrow.

Ya I preordered through EA games, but the MoH beta site is defunct or some crap. Bait n switch turd buckets.

They've been having problems with the portal all day. Every new post I see says 30 min. That was 4 hrs ago.

After waiting for the Medal of Honor web site to go back up following a deluge of traffic that forced it to go down for several hours, PlayStation 3 owners are now being faced with yet another obstacle before they'll be able to play the beta for Electronic Art's upcoming first-person shooter.

The beta keys don't work.

The deal was supposed to be simple. Pre-order Medal of Honor at a participating retailer, get a code, and then enter the code into the Medal of Honor web site for a beta key. If you had a copy of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 registered with Electronic Arts, you'd be able to access the beta on June 17th. If you didn't, you would have to wait until June 21st.

Evidently, a lot more gamers will end up having to wait than just those who don't own a copy of Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

After getting our beta key from the Medal of Honor web site, we registered our copy of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 through Electronic Art's Gun Club web site and then tried to redeem the key on PlayStation Network.

"The code you entered may not be correct or may no longer be valid."

Well damn.

Unfortunately, our misfortune does not seem to be an isolated incident. Popular message boards, like GameFAQs, are full of threads posted by gamers complaining that their keys are being rejected as well.

Also, the Medal of Honor web site is down again and is giving visitors a 403 Forbidden message.

We've reached out to Electronic Arts by e-mail for an explanation, but so far we haven't gotten a response.

ok maybe im a moron but where are you downloading it from...my code isnt working so i cant get past that but then what are you supposed to do?

u need to go to medalofhonor.com and get ur beta code with the code they give you. In return they give u the psn code to use on the ps3.

I got mine and started playing last night.

OK...here's my take after playing 45 minutes.

1. Got booted and froze up way too much...but it's beta and I'll overlook that.

2. As others already said, a cross between BC2 and MW2 is the best description of the game.

3. Likes:
- It's more like BC2 than MW2 thank god (mission mode that is)
- Fast paced action on mission mode is awesome.
- Although no one was communicating, it seems like much better squad action than BC2 and obviously MW2 which had nothing.
- Controls are pretty much just like BC2.
- Scoring for helping out, not just for kills.
- That MW2 knife style...easier to knife.
- Secondary weapons are fun just like BC2
- Maps and graphics
- Destructive environment

4. Dislikes:
- The classes aren't strong - I'm definitely missing that medics throw health, assault throws ammo, etc.
- It's hard to tell how or why you died sometimes...sometimes all of a sudden you're dead and don't know what the hell just happened as opposed to BC2/MW2 where you can figure it out.
- Respawn control or the lack thereof...you can spawn at the front or behind the front. Seems like everytime I spawn at the front I spawn in a hail of gunfire.

I'm looking forward to playing with some of you guys to see how team communicatino works.

I'm going up to Gamestop today to preorder it. So I'll be in the beta on monday.

Hopefully they can stop the crashing by then
