MAG Interdiction DLC on June 22

MAG is getting it's first major update, and it's not too far away.

I like the fact that we have a new game mode, and also that the maps for the new game mode are PMC independent. So we get 3 new maps and can play each of them from either angle. The "Inderdiction" mode sounds like a multi-objective king of the hill affair. I have to admit that I was also hoping for a couple of new maps for existing game types, but I guess I hope for too much!

This sounds pretty good though. This should make it more action oriented. I'm excited about it.

that is great i cant wait until it comes out it comes out and we can kick some #&$ without campers around every corner. hope it dont cost to much i aint got to much money in me PSN and it take forever to get to a gamestop around my house

I think it's going to be $9.99. I was talking with the squad leads on MoV, they were undecided about it due to being that price for effectively 3 maps and some new armor. I do agree with some sentiments that with the player base being a bit smaller now, than it was a few months ago, the new game type is going to spread that player base thinner across the games, so we may well be queuing for games longer. Hopefully i'm wrong and it will draw more players into the game.

i think that it mite make wait times longer in sabo aqu and mabey alittle it dom but in the new one there will be wverybody that buys it will be in it most of the tiime

I want to get it but may wait and see if the MAG community gets it. I'd hate to get it and wait 20 minutes in a queue.

Interdiction now available, along with an activation patch and double XP this coming weekend June 25 to 27.

So sign up for this weeks op on Friday night and get double XP.

So, has anyway given it a try? I downloaded it yesterday but didn't try it out. Any early reviews?
