Well, then it still could've been a different tie had we made that goal that bounced out, instead of in off the near post late in the second half. I forget the striker's name. I think England got lucky...they do not have that great a team this time around. Watching the defense and tackles by the US showed a much improved and tactical squad. England looked...I don't know, unhinged. We should have beat them. Don't expect us to advance though much further. Brothers in Arms we be...

Agree Starbug, Football (soccer) is mind-numbing.

As a Welshman, I was only allowed to support 2 teams when I was growing up...

1. Wales (mainly in Rugby)

2. Anyone who plays against England!!!

As we say in Wales; "Diolch i chi i America ar gyfer bod yn cau Saesneg!"

Translation: (Thank you to America for shutting up the English!) lol!

I'm English but I actually think the England is giantly over hyped. They only have 4 world class players (Gerrard, Lampard, Terry and Rooney) and everyone else doesn't really compare. From seeing USA's performance I hope they finish top of the group since England really doesn't deserve it.
