I personally think lebron is better. but, i get alot of crap for it lol. what you guys think who are basketball fans?

Looking at the previous posts I wonder how many of you ACTUALLY watch, know, and play basketball. Lucky for me I had the Honor of meeting Kobe in person when he came to my basketball camp so lets disregard the comment that he is a "punk" because i'll bet you he'd kick the shit out of all of us if we were to ctually fight. Thats problem #1. problem #2 is that he is not a rapist....the alligations were proven false and he is not and has never been a registered sex offender so idk who says someone who was proven innocent of rape is a rapist thats just bad logic. This is definately an opinion thread because the FACTS say kobe bryant is a better player than lebron and anyone who watches and understands basketball would know this. I mean yea lebron is more electrifying but where has that gotten him? Sorry but I just get offended when a guy gets called a "rapist" and a "punk" when neither are actually true and besides you cant say that shaq won those championships alone......Thats just ludicrous.

C'mon Mike...you live in Jersey...why so passionate about a west coaster? He may not be a punk and he may not be a rapist...but he did cheat on his wife, so he's not exactly a paragon of virtue either. I just don't like the guy. Lebron is far more likable.

LeBron does not have better stats. Kobe has five rings that he won. LeBron has zero. That's the only stat that matters. Also Kobe is on the way to the threepeat repeat which will piss off a lot of the people in this state when he is consistently compared to Jordan.

For those of you whom are of the opinion that Shaq won those first three rings. How many NBA finals has he been to since he left Kobe? Maybe Kobe won those rings for Shaq.

My answer is Kobe although if LeBron comes to the Bulls next season I will be changing my answer. Go Bulls, Cubs, Bears, and Hawks!!!!!!!!!

I didn't say Kobe was the best player ever. I was merely illustrating my opinion of why Kobe is better than LeBron. However I do think the Black Mamba is one of the best players of all time.

It's hard to compare players from different eras such as Kobe and Michael or Michael and Magic. Michael Jordan was definitely the best of his time and possibly all time, but Magic was also the best of his time. Kobe is king right now and LeBron has proven that he doesn't have what it takes in the playoffs.
